Specialized tools and the experience of our talented solution architects and professional services teams allow us to carefully analyze your existing environment, design a great solution, and create a blueprint for success.
Data Networks assessments use a combination of staff interviews and data collection and analysis tools to better understand your current environment and solution readiness. Our certified engineers follow the best practice recommendations of leading organizations, including The Center for Internet Security, IEEE and EIA/TIA to ensure accurate results.
Depending on the engagement, a combination of OEM-supplied and third-party tools are used in addition to our internally-developed checklists. We’ll capture your goals and requirements, document current assets and configurations, and provide prioritized recommendations for moving forward. Assessment types include:
- Storage Utilization
- Performance Analysis
- Microsoft Exchange
- Directory Services
- Core Network
- Security Risk Analysis
With assessment data in hand we design and architect sound solutions premised on fact, not conjecture. Our highly trained staff of engineers and technical architects take the lead in developing detailed designs with an emphasis on simplifying your environment and management requirements. In addition, the partnerships and certification levels we maintain with OEM partners give us access to high level design resources.
Every design incorporates the very latest thinking and leverages the most current solution features to help you:
- Improve network performance, security, and scalability
- Accelerate adoption of new technologies and improve ROI
- Reduce expensive and time-consuming redesign
- Increase the proficiency of your technical staff
Effective project management is a key component of every Data Networks engagement. Once a design is created, we will develop a comprehensive project plan based on the Project Management Institute’s popular IPECC methodology for planning and executing IT projects. This consistent, repeatable methodology speeds implementation and improves project collaboration.
Our Project Managers are experts at strategic and tactical planning, project costing, risk identification and management, and implementation and control. They use Microsoft Project to plan each project using critical path methodology, plus the Microsoft Office Professional suite to prepare and analyze spreadsheets, databases, and word documentation to cost, track, and facilitate project activities. They’re involved in your project every step of the way, and their job isn’t done until your project is finished to your complete satisfaction.
