Data Networks Welcomes New Professional Services Team Members
Hunt Valley, MD – July 20, 2021 – Data Networks, a premier solution provider focused on simplifying enterprise IT for education, government, healthcare, and commercial customers, is pleased to welcome two new members to its Professional Services Team. The addition of Andre Cherry as Service Desk Engineer and Harry Serra as Hardware Repair + Deployment Engineer support the company’s commitment to providing leading end-to-end technical and support services to customers.
As Service Desk Engineer, Andre Cherry works closely with and supports Data Networks’ Managed Services customers and their varied infrastructures and systems. Managing the company’s service desk encompasses all aspects of systems administration, from troubleshooting client systems to back-end management of systems—all to ensure the efficient daily operation of customer network and computer systems. As Service Desk Engineer, Andre also performs regular system tests to anticipate/resolve issues and recommend updates to customers as needed.
Andre joined Data Networks in 2013 as a part-time Lead Assist Technician—a contract position he held while obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Towson University—and ultimately took on a full-time role as Hardware Repair and Deployment Engineer in November 2020 before his promotion to Service Desk Engineer.
As Hardware Repair + Deployment Engineer, Harry Serra serves in a dual role as an engineer who troubleshoots and repairs PCs, laptops, and printers, in a timely fashion and then handles their successful deployment. To his new position as Hardware Repair + Deployment Engineer, Harry brings 15 years of customer service and technical experience across a variety of industries, along with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Towson University.
