Juniper Mist Access Point Replacement and Network Upgrade

Wireless Network and AP Design and Configuration for North Carolina Water Utility Company

Q3 2022

In July, Data Networks designed a new wireless network and Juniper Mist access point placement for this North Carolina-based Water Utility Company. This solution included deployment of 40 Mist AP33 wireless access points, as well as configuration of the Mist Portal for the new APs and wireless network. The new wireless network included new Wi-Fi networks, including an 802.1x authenticated user network, a Guest Network with no peer-to-peer communication, and a DMZ wireless that includes customer tablets that only communicate to a single server.
