Strengthening Compliance and Security for Healthcare Operations

This Maryland health department needed to modernize its server infrastructure to maintain compliance with evolving Maryland Department of Health (MDH) requirements while addressing growing security and operational concerns. Executing a Comprehensive Windows Server 2022 Upgrade

In addition to upgrading existing servers, Data Networks deployed and configured a new Windows Server 2022 virtual machine to host a critical application that previously resided on a server scheduled for replacement.

The core of the project involved upgrading seven production servers from Windows Server 2019 to Windows Server 2022. The Windows Server upgrade introduced enhanced security capabilities, improved management features, stronger integration with modern technologies, and continued access to Microsoft’s latest updates and support resources.
