Data Networks Welcome Nick Hoffmann as Project Manager
Hunt Valley, MD – July 27, 2026 – Data Networks, a premier provider of enterprise IT solutions for education, government, and mid-market commercial customers, is pleased to announce that Nick Hoffmann has joined the company as Project Manager. In this role, Nick will help lead technology projects from planning through completion, coordinating closely with clients, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with client goals.

Nick brings more than 10 years of experience delivering IT infrastructure, networking, and client technology projects across healthcare, government, commercial, and financial services environments. Throughout his career, he has managed projects from initiation through closeout, with experience spanning project planning and execution, resource and schedule management, vendor coordination, budgeting, risk management, and executive communications. His strong technical foundation enables him to bridge the gap between Data Networks’ engineers executing technical work and the clients and stakeholders responsible for broader project and organizational objectives.
Most recently, Nick served in Cloud & Infrastructure Operations leadership roles with PwC, where he led complex technology transformation initiatives for large enterprise clients. His work included leading a two-year technology transformation and regulatory remediation program for a nationwide financial institution, coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams and serving as a primary point of contact between clients and internal delivery teams. In addition to managing timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource allocations, Nick worked closely with technology leaders, engineers, security teams, and implementation partners to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Prior to PwC, Nick served as a Senior Infrastructure Technology Support Analyst with Accenture, where he supported global network operations and large-scale technology initiatives. As part of Marriott’s Network Operations Center, he supported approximately 7,000 locations worldwide and helped coordinate network incident response, disaster recovery and failover activities, ISP cutovers, and technology deployments. He also coordinated the global deployment of more than 1,000 network monitoring devices, working across vendors, engineering teams, and operations personnel to maintain project schedules and successful delivery.
Earlier in his career, Nick worked as a Systems Engineer with Buoyant Technologies, where he managed dozens of concurrent client projects across healthcare, legal, federal contracting, and commercial environments. In addition to overseeing requirements, resources, vendors, logistics, and client communications, he developed project plans and technical documentation and supported the deployment of servers, phone and voicemail systems, networking infrastructure, and structured cabling. This combination of hands-on technical expertise and project leadership provides Nick with a comprehensive understanding of the work required to successfully deliver complex IT projects.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Network and Cyber Security from the University of Maryland University College and an Associate Degree in Information Security and Networking from Anne Arundel Community College. He also holds several industry certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, SAFe 6 Agilist, SAFe 6 Product Owner/Product Manager, and SAFe 6 Scrum Master.
“We are excited to welcome Nick to the Data Networks team. His combination of project management expertise and hands-on technical experience makes him a great fit for our organization. Nick understands both the technical details that drive successful implementations and the importance of clear communication, coordination, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. We look forward to the impact he will make for our clients and project teams.”
Patrick Regan, President/CEO
As Project Manager, Nick will leverage his technical background, client-facing experience, and structured approach to project delivery to help Data Networks successfully execute technology initiatives while maintaining strong communication and collaboration among clients, technical teams, and technology partners.
