Data Networks Simplifies Procurement for Gov-Ed Customers with Aruba Networks WSCA-NASPO Award

Enhanced opportunity to engage with State, Local and Education entities on communication projects for Access (Wired/Wireless), Security, and Policy Management.

Hunt Valley, MD – May 30, 2014 – Data Networks today announced it has been authorized on the Western States Contracting Alliance National Association of State Procurement Officials (WSCA-NASPO) Cooperative Purchasing Organization contract held by Aruba Networks enabling them to provide expanded Wireless LAN (WLAN) and mobile security options to State, Local and Education (SLED) customers.

WSCA-NASPO is a multi-state contract that simplifies WLAN selection for SLED customers by pre-approving networking vendors thus eliminating the arduous and expensive competitive bid process. With Aruba’s addition to the contract, all participating SLED customers now have greater choice and expedited implementation when selecting wireless networking solutions.

In addition to the WSCA vehicle, Aruba and Data Networks are announcing several specific promotions that can enhance the application of these technologies and allow faster integration of these needed capabilities. Promotional programs include:

eRate Relief – Aruba is offering a free year of Aruba Central, their Cloud based management platform for the Instant AP family to all K12 educational institutions with each new IAP (Instant Access Point) purchased from March 15th, 2014 until July 31st, 2015.

ClearPass EDU – K12 and Higher Educational customers are able to purchase Clearpass Onboard and Guest modules at a 75% discount, valid March 15th, 2014 until Dec 31st, 2014. Clearpass Onboard and Guest allows for the integrations of BYOD and personal devices onto a controlled network while maintaining a strong security policy.
