Data Networks Welcomes New Centralized Services Engineer

Hunt Valley, MD – March 10, 2025 – Data Networks, a premier solution provider focused on simplifying enterprise IT for K-12 and higher education, government, healthcare, and mid-market commercial customers, is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Boulan as Centralized Services Engineer.

In this role, Michael is responsible for working closely to support our Managed IT Services customers’ various systems and infrastructures, encompassing all aspects of Systems Administration, via our service desk. Michael’s role also includes oversight of device health policy management, patch management, routine systems test and maintenance, troubleshooting client devices, and back-end management of enterprise infrastructure to ensure efficient daily operations for our clients.

Michael brings more than 6 years of information systems support experience and critical thinking within the IT industry. Most recently, he held the role of IT Support Engineer and Jr. Site Reliability Engineer with Bowery Farming, where he provided Level II/III support for system and network administration across multiple locations and optimized infrastructure, security, and cost efficiency. Additionally, Michael led technical projects, cloud service administration, and automation initiatives while streamlining SaaS subscription management, reducing costs, and ensuring reliable IT operations.

Prior to his work at Bowery Farming, Michael worked with Helion Technologies as an IT Field Engineer, where he implemented and optimized equipment to enhance infrastructure performance, led nationwide client onboarding projects, and delivered exceptional client service-driven retention.  Additionally, Michael has worked in System Administration and IT Support for CareFirst and MileOne Autogroup.

Michael holds an A.A. in Computer Science from Harford Community College along with multiple certifications, including CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA CYSA+. Michael is a gifted IT professional and we are excited to welcome him to Data Networks’ MSP team.
