Data Networks Welcomes Sam Ford as New Service Desk Engineer
Hunt Valley, MD – May 4, 2025 – Data Networks, a premier provider of enterprise IT solutions for education, government, and mid-market commercial customers, is pleased to announce that Sam Ford has joined the company as a Service Desk Engineer II on the Managed IT Services team. As a member of the Managed IT Services team, Sam will be responsible for supporting our clients’ day-to-day IT needs while helping maintain seamless and reliable IT operations.

Sam brings a strong foundation in IT support, with experience assisting users across a wide range of environments. He is well-versed in systems troubleshooting, account administration, and delivering high-quality, client-facing support. Known for his clear communication and process-driven approach, Sam has built a reputation for effectively resolving issues while maintaining a positive user experience in structured, high-reliability settings.
Most recently, Sam served as a Business Management Consultant and Executive IT Assistant with Kilda Group/Lartey Wellness Group. In this role, he supported Active Directory administration, access management, and troubleshooting for cloud-based resources, while working closely with both end users and organizational leadership. Prior to that, Sam held IT consulting roles where he supported server, network, and endpoint environments, providing both remote and onsite services focused on preventative maintenance and issue resolution.
In addition to his professional experience, Sam is a U.S. Navy veteran and a graduate of Towson University. He also holds ITIL v3 and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications, further demonstrating his commitment to structured service delivery and continuous improvement.
