Matt Schuman
Matt Schuman joined Data Networks in 2026 as Director of Enterprise Service Delivery, bringing more than 20 years of experience in enterprise IT operations, managed services, cybersecurity, and technical leadership. In his role, Matt oversees the delivery of Data Networks’ Enterprise IT Services, with a focus on operational excellence, service quality, technical team development, and delivering successful outcomes for clients.
Prior to joining Data Networks, Matt served as Director of Operations for a managed services provider, where he directed IT operations supporting more than 65 client organizations. He led a team of engineers responsible for service delivery, infrastructure management, and strategic technology planning while implementing process improvements, automation, and proactive service management practices designed to improve efficiency and the overall client experience.
Matt also brings extensive experience supporting large-scale and mission-critical IT environments. During his time with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, he led cross-functional teams supporting enterprise security operations, user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA), insider threat initiatives, and technology solutions across an environment of more than 155,000 endpoints. Earlier in his career, Matt held cybersecurity leadership positions with CACI and Tanager, Inc., specializing in cyber intelligence, security operations, incident investigations, and enterprise cybersecurity strategy.
In addition to his civilian IT career, Matt served for more than two decades in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. His military experience included leading counterintelligence operations, managing mission-critical teams, and supporting national security initiatives in the United States and overseas.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Commerce from Dakota State University, with minors in Networking, Computer Networking Security, and Computer Information Systems.
