Data Networks Awarded Maryland State Desktop, Laptop and Tablet Master Contract

Hunt Valley, MD, August 11, 2015 – Data Networks, a premier provider of IT solutions focused on simplifying enterprise IT for education, government, and mid-market commercial customers, has been awarded a master contract with the Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT) to provide state and participating non-state organizations  and agencies with desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors, associated peripherals, installation services, and manufacturer extended warranties. DoIT has policy responsibility for information technology matters across state agencies, and coordinates, purchases, and manages all telecommunications devices and systems utilized by these agencies.

Under the new contract (#060B5400007), in effect through July 21, 2021 with a six-year renewal option, Data Networks will enable public-sector organizations and agencies across state government markets and in the K-12 and higher-education sectors, to efficiently procure client devices and manufacturer extended warranties from Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung. The contract not only simplifies and expedites the procurement process for qualifying entities, but also offers them access to Data Networks’ world-class services and support.
