Data Networks Promotes Service Desk Engineer Harry Serra to Technology Alignment Manager

Hunt Valley, MD – March 20, 2023 – Data Networks, a premier solution provider focused on simplifying enterprise IT for K-12 and higher education, government, healthcare, and mid-market commercial customers, is pleased to announce the promotion of Harry Serra, to Technology Alignment Manager (TAM).

Harry started with Data Networks in July 2021 as a Hardware Repair + Deployment Engineer. In this role he was responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and deploying PCs, laptops, and peripherals. With over 15 years of combined customer service and technical experience, Harry brought an abundance of both technical and soft skills to the team. In addition, Harry earned a B.S. in Information Technology from Towson University.

In under a year, Harry was promoted to Service Desk Engineer. In this position on the Managed IT Services team, Harry worked closely with our Managed IT Services customers to support and troubleshoot their systems and infrastructures to ensure efficient daily operation of their network and computer systems. Our customers and employees report thoroughly enjoy working with Harry. He has proven to be a genuine problem solver, determined and methodical while resolving issues and anticipating future IT needs.

In Harry’s new role as Technology Alignment Manager, he will put these skills to use by providing consistent monthly reporting, benchmarking, and analysis, and meeting monthly with our Managed IT Services customers. As a TAM, Harry will review standard and specialized metrics for each customer and work closely to review findings and recommendations for their broader strategic planning.

Harry’s work ethic and technical skills have continually shined brightly through his work and the care he shows daily to each of our customers. We are so proud to have Harry as a Data Networks team member; every day he embodies our core values.
