Hunt Valley, MD – April 11, 2023 – Data Networks, a premier solution provider focused on simplifying enterprise IT for K-12 and higher education, government, healthcare, and mid-market commercial customers, is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Mueller as Service Engineer, Level II Managed IT Services.
In this role, Matt is responsible for working closely with our Managed IT customers to support and troubleshoot their systems and infrastructures and ensure efficient daily operation of the customer’s network and computer systems. Matt will provide Level I and escalated Level II support for service tickets while proactively monitoring customer environments through our RMM software.
Matt brings over three years of technical support experience and over nine years of customer service experience. Most recently, he held the role of Junior System Administrator at Sterling, where he managed the help desk team and assisted with the escalation of tickets, worked on migrations, designed and implemented new policies, and configured hardware. He was also responsible for interacting with vendors for hardware procurement, including logistics pricing and rollout.
Prior to his work with Sterling, Matt worked as a Help Desk Support Technician with Employment Background Investigations Inc. In this role, Matt was a tier 1-3 user support, ticket creator, and tracker. He was responsible for supporting 150+ users, working on email recovery, Active Directory, and deploying software remotely.
Matt holds a B.S. in Computer Networks & Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Matt is technically minded and customer relations-driven; he is an exceptional addition to the Data Networks team.
